Provide the answer to the question here.
How do I use the diffuser flowers?
Simply place the flowers into the vase with your favorite reed diffuser oil. The oil will travel up to the flowers through the stems and diffuse the scent into the room.
How long before the scent will start to diffuse into the room?
It can take up to 2 weeks for the flowers to become fully saturated with oil, but you should start noticing a mild fragrance from the reeds after just a few days. (The time and intensity of diffusing the fragrance will depend on temperature, humidity, and size of the room)
Is there a difference between reed diffuser oil and regular scented oil?
Yes! Reed diffuser oil contains an element that assists in the evaporation of the scented oil into the air, which is how it diffuses the smell into your room.
Are reed diffuser oils Essential Oils?
No. Essential oils are oils derived from plants. Essential oils have a wide range of uses, but typically their fragrance is not strong enough to diffuse that scent into a room. Customers wishing to use essential oils with our sola flower diffusers for alternative health features of the oils can simply rub or drop the oils onto the sola flower itself rather than into the vase. Due to the wide variety of essential oils and formulas for rendering them we cannot ensure the oil will not clog the reed.
*Bloom & Bowery makes no claims as the effectiveness of utilizing essential oils with our products.
Are all of your scented products Phthalate-Free and Cruelty-Free?
Yes! We only source from reliable certified suppliers who adhere to our strict standards.
How long does the 4 oz. bottle last?
This will depend on the temperature, humidity and the location of the diffuser in the room. It will evaporate faster in a warmer, dryer, high-traffic area. Areas like a bathroom, or entry way are highly recommended. The oil should last 3-4 months, however the scent will fade at around 3 months when you will want to refill or replace.
Can the flowers be painted or dyed?
We only recommend painting the flowers if you will be using them for decorative purposes! You should not use paints of any kind in combination with the reed diffuser oils. If you would like to modify the color of the flowers we suggest using a safe and natural dye to tint the flowers. The dye can be put directly onto the sola flower or placed into the vase and allow it to absorb along with the oil.
Can I use a different scent with the flowers after the oil is fully diffused from the vase?
We do not recommend to change the scent of the flowers. Trace amounts of the original scented oil will remain in the reed and flower and may compromise the new scent.
How do I flip the reed to occasionally boost the scent?
With our sola reed diffuser flowers there is no need for this extra step. Since the end of the reed is inside the flower it is not exposed to the air, and after absorbing the oil the flower will always have enough fragrance to provide a continuously balanced scent.
